Archer Reporting in Workday: Source to Pipeline
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Archer · October 2026
Overview
One Workday report, the Source to Pipeline matrix, shows how many Archer candidates sit in each recruiting stage. Its drill-down lets you narrow that to open requisitions only and see exactly who is where. Your Archer Forward Deployed Engineer can walk through it with you.
Question it answers | Where to find it |
|---|---|
How many Archer candidates have reached each stage, all time? | The matrix, filtered to the Archer source |
Which Archer candidates are active in open roles right now? | Drill into a stage, then view by Job Requisition Status and pick Open |
Who has Archer helped you hire? | Drill into Ready for Hire |
Before you start
Confirm the Archer source name. Check exactly how Archer appears in your recruiting sources (e.g. "Sources > Archer"). The report filters on it.
Check you can open the report. Search Workday for "Source to Pipeline". If you can't see it, ask your Workday report writer to create it with the settings below.

Job Requisition Status is the field that matters most: it is what lets you separate open roles from filled and closed ones.
Step 1: Filter the matrix to Archer
Open the Source to Pipeline report.
Click the Source column header.
Set Filter Condition to is.
In Value, search for and tick the Archer source.
The matrix now shows one row: every Archer application and the stage it reached. This is all historical data, including candidates on roles that have since closed or been filled.
Step 2: Drill down to open roles
Click the number under a stage, e.g. Review. A list of those candidates opens, showing added date, candidate and requisition, stage, source, email and phone.
In View by, choose Job Requisition Status and click Refresh. You'll see counts for Open, Filled and Closed.
Click the Open count to see only candidates on roles you're still hiring for.
Repeat for each stage you care about, such as Screen and Interview. The drill-down always shows the candidate's current stage, so each list is an accurate live view.
Step 3: See who's been hired
Click the number under Ready for Hire to list every Archer candidate who has been hired, with their role and date.
Step 4: Share it with your Archer team
Use the Excel or PDF icons in the top right of the report or any drill-down list to export it. A weekly export of the open-role drill-downs, sent to your Archer contacts, gives us everything we need for your updates.
Tips
Focus on open roles. The matrix totals include closed and filled roles. For weekly updates, use the Open drill-down.
Use View by to slice further. The same drill-down can be viewed by recruiter, manager, requisition or location.
Match the source name. If the Archer row is missing, check the source spelling in the filter.
