Activating Single Sign-On

To activate Single Sign-On for hackajob you’ll need to follow these steps:

  • Log into your IdP and create a new SAML 2.0 application.

  • For the name of the application use “hackajob”.

  • Add the following data:

    • Single Sign-On URL (ACS) - the “custom-identifier” will be generated by us and sent over

    <https://api.hackajob.com/v3/saml/webhook/[custom-identifier]/acs>

    • Audience URI

    hackajob.com

    • Name ID format → EmailAddress

    • Application Username → Email

Metadata URL

After the above steps are finished, you’ll need to send us the Metadata URL.

After the Metadata URL from your IdP is added to our database, the users with accounts will be able to sign in using your IdP.

In the end, please confirm that your users can log in using the IdP-initiated SSO, and the username + password login option will be deactivated.
